ABOUT Ivy
Behnaz Alizade (preferred name: Ivy), is a super talented Sydney-based illustrator with a Master’s degree in Illustration and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication.
For over eight years, Ivy worked across children’s illustration, educational publishing, graphic design, and digital storytelling. She worked with different educational and children’s publishers, creating illustrated learning materials and 2D content designed to make learning feel playful, engaging, and full of imagination.
Ivy loves creating warm, story-driven illustrations inspired by childhood curiosity, family moments, little adventures, and the emotional connection between characters. Her background in design, branding, and game art has also shaped the way she builds visual worlds — with lots of atmosphere, movement, and thoughtful details.
Most of all, Ivy simply enjoys telling stories through images and creating artwork that children can connect with, explore, and hopefully remember for a long time.
