ABOUT MILLY
Milly is a long-distance mountain runner, presenter and teacher with a passion for helping others find their voice and build resilience. In 2014 she ran the OCC, a 53km mountain race, finishing in the Top Ten Female category and igniting a love for endurance running.
As a teacher Milly has worked in both UK and Swiss schools, where her overarching passion has been teaching children how to gain confidence and be braver in front of an audience. Having once found public speaking nerve-wracking herself, she knows firsthand how transformative it can be to step up and find your voice!
Whether on a mountain trail, a stage or in a classroom, Milly believes that courage grows with practice– and she loves helping others discover just how capable they really are.
Follow Mildred’s journey of self belief and courage in the “Mad Mountain March”
“Up on the mountaintop, up near the snow,
is the place where the bravest animals go.”
When Mildred’s dad suggests she enter the legendary Mad Mountain March Race, she is excited but questions if she can do it. What if she's not fast enough? What if she fails?
Racing against speedy hares, daredevil deer, and lightning-quick stoats, Mildred discovers that the real secret to success isn't about being the fastest, it's about being brave enough to try.
A heartwarming tale about courage and believing in yourself.
